Composta por 20 faixas, a coletânea All Over the World reúne algumas das músicas de maior sucesso lançadas pela banda britânica Electric Light Orchestra entre 1973 e 1983. Faixas como “Livin’ Thing”, “Mr. Blue Sky”, “Don’t Bring Me Down” e “Rock n’ Roll is King” são amostras do brilhantismo do ELO, cujas composições de Jeff Lynne misturam com habilidade elementos de pop, rock e disco com instrumentos pouco usados na música pop, como violino e violoncelo. Lançada em 2005, a compilação também traz canções menos conhecidas do grupo, como “The Diary of Horace Wimp” e “Turn to Stone”. O álbum teve vendas expressivas na época de seu lançamento, mas só chegou ao topo das paradas 11 anos depois, em 2016, quando a banda se apresentou no festival de Glastonbury e foi redescoberta pelo público.
