The song proved infectious, and was released worldwide in 1962, even garnering an American Grammy Award for Best Rock & Roll Record. Though Atlantic issued some more of his work in the years that followed, Fabric never had another hit like "Alley Cat." In 2006, however, the Dane received a bit of attention again after Jukebox, a remixed album of some of his work, was released.
