BAEKHO
Baekho is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, and television personality. He was born Kang Dong-ho, born on July 21, 1995, in Aewol, Jeju Province. Baekho graduated from Seoul Broadcasting High School and the Paekche Institute of the Arts, and was scouted by Pledis Entertainment in 2010. In 2011, Baekho made appearances in music releases as a member of Pledis Boys and featured in After School's "Play Ur Love" music video. His group NU'EST debuted in 2012, featuring Baekho as the main vocalist. Baekho also ventured into acting with a minor role in the Japanese film Their Distance and began contributing to NU'EST's music production in 2015. In 2017, Baekho's participation in the second season of TV show Produce 101 brought a lot of attention, earning him the nickname "sexy bandit." Baekho continued his career with various solo ventures, including a performance on King of Masked Singer in 2018 and his first original television drama soundtrack in 2019. He has also modeled for fashion brands and acted in musicals. In 2022, Baekho made his debut as a solo artist with the EP Absolute Zero, promoted with the single "No Rules." The release peaked at number 9 on the Circle Albums Chart and was followed by the non-album singles "Elevator" and "What Are We" featuring Fromis 9's Park Ji-won in 2023.
