Alexandra Stréliski

Born on January 15, 1985, in Montreal, Canada, Alexandra Stréliski is an award-winning pianist and composer. She was born into a family of artists, and she studied piano at Collège International Marie de France (in Paris), McGill University (in Quebec, Canada), and at the University of Montreal. In 2010, Alexandra Stréliski released her debut album, Pianoscope, which contained tracks that were later used for television and films including those of director Jean-Marc Vallée (Dallas Buyers Club, Big Little Lies, and Demolition).Her second album, Inscape (2018), was even more successful. The double-platinum selling album reached Number 1 on several classical music charts and received over 120 million streams (most notably for the songs “Plus tôt” and “Changing Winds”). Inscape won several Félix Awards including Revelation of the Year and Author or Composer of the Year. The album also won the Album of the Year Award at the Canadian Independent Music Awards. In 2020, she was nominated for three Juno Awards, although she only won one: Instrumental Album of the Year. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alexandra Stréliski began work on her third album, Néo-Romance, which was released in May 2023. The album rose to Number 2 on the Canadian chart and entered the French chart at Number 200.
