NC.A

Im So-eun, widely recognized as NC.A (New Creative Artist), is a South Korean singer and actress born on October 7, 1996, in Osan, Gyeonggi Province. Her music journey began in earnest after a video of her performing caught the eye of JJHolic Media CEO Chae Jong-ju, who welcomed her into the company following a successful audition. Early in her career, NC.A displayed her musical talents by performing alongside her label mate Yurisangja in 2012. "My Student Teacher," her debut single, came out in 2013 and reached number 92 on South Korea's Circle Chart. It was closely followed by her portrayal of a high schooler in tvN's Reply 1994, cementing her as a multifaceted artist. NC.A’s discography rapidly expanded with tracks like "Oh My God," "Hello Baby," and "I'm Different," all included in her debut EP Scent of NC.A from 2014. Subsequent singles such as "Crazy You" (2014), "Hoo Hoo Hoo" (2014), "Cinderella Time" (2015), and "Coming Soon" (2015), which saw her experimenting with rapping for the first time, quickly established her as one of the fastest-rising stars in the K-pop world. 2016 found NC.A venturing into acting once again on the drama Three by Three, and releasing her first Korean studio album, Time to Be a Woman, funded through the innovative Makestar project. Her versatility shone yet again in 2017 when she secured a coveted spot in the girl group Uni.T on the survival reality show, The Unit. Despite the group's disbandment in 2018, NC.A continued to dazzle audiences in her native South Korea with releases such as the EP Some- (2019), as well as the singles "Love is Like Rain Outside the Window" (2022), "My Little" (2023), and "I'm Falling in Love" (2023), a duet with rapper unofficialboyy.
