This EP is really a minor work in Soda Stereo's career. Recorded in September of 1989 it contained only one new song "Mundo de Quimeras" while the rest of the material was integrated by three songs extracted from the previous LP, Doble Vida, but in alternate versions. "Mundo de Quimeras" is the nearest to the Latin rhythms that the band has played in some time. This song helped to sell the EP, along with Lenny Pickett's arrangements. The rest is a reworked version of "Languis," and remixes of two strong songs, the obscure "En el Borde" and the hit "Lo Que Sangra (La Cúpula)." Just for fans and collectors.

Led Zeppelin: 50 Years of Rock

In 2018, Led Zeppelin celebrated their 50th birthday, but the only "present" on offer is a beautiful book which will come out on sale in Autumn. After having made their mark on the history of rock in just 12 years, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones have often reunited on stage and in the studio after the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, with varying degrees of success. Let's take a look back at Led Zep's different comebacks, which we hope might throw up some nice ideas for a really good birthday concert...

Peter Thomas in Orbit

In Germany they have their own Michel Legrand: his name is Peter Thomas! His eccentric film music left its mark on a whole generation of viewers in the 60s and 70s and since the 90s he has often been cited and sampled by young pop groups. The cult composer passed away on May 17th, 2020. We met him three years earlier, on the dawn of his 92nd birthday.

Betty Davis, The Funk Panther

Without her, there would be no Macy Gray, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse or Janelle Monáe! Despite having disappeared from the music scene for years, Betty Davis remains a pioneer of feline soul sisters. The ultimate funk goddess. She also brought electricity to a certain Miles Davis who she would go on to marry, if only for a short while. But who are you Betty?
