Band Of Joy
Band of Joy was formed in 1966 by Robert Plant, who would later go on to be the vocalist for one of the most well-known rock bands in history, Led Zeppelin. Several conflicts with management led to Plant defecting and attempting to form his own version of the band, which also eventually folded but not before recruiting John Bonham into the group. The band was a favorite with underground mod culture, but disbanded in 1968 when a proper recording contract failed to manifest.
