Tras haber saltado al estrellato con su Doo-Wops & Hooligans, Bruno Mars parece haber perdido mucho del espíritu ingenuo y romántico que constituía el principal encanto de su debut. Las canciones de Unorthodox Jukebox, en cambio, sorprenden al ofrecer una visión bastante negativa del sexo opuesto y la vida en general.
