El joven pianista/vocalista Jamie Cullum causó considerable sensación en un mundo post-Norah Jones de cantautores influenciados por el jazz y con tendencias acústicas. Tanto si interpreta "Singin' in the Rain" a lo Stevie Wonder o si se inspira en Jimi Hendrix a través de Stax vía Van Morrison en "Wind Cries Mary", Cullum contribuye a redefinir el cante interpretativo a principios del siglo XXI en Twentysomething.
