Platinum Collection es una recopilación que contiene tres discos, uno de los grandes éxitos de Enigma, uno de remezclas y uno de "The Lost Ones", breves fragmentos instrumentales que se utilizaron como material original e ideas para los temas completos. Naturalmente, este último disco es lo interesante para los fans más acérrimos; a diferencia del resto de la recopilación, contiene material no publicado, pero incluso estos fans pueden considerarlo ligeramente efímero; al fin y al cabo, se trata de algo creado como cintas de trabajo, no para ser publicado. El resto del trabajo es una buena panorámica de los temas básicos, pero sigue sin quedar claro a quién va dirigido, ya que recicla demasiado para los fans acérrimos y es demasiado largo para los fans ocasionales.
