The history is a little sketchy, but this collection does distill down the best of the group's first three Charisma Records albums. The only problem is that Nicely Out of Tune and Fog On the Tyne should be in any fan's collection complete, and also that later, post-Charisma hits like "Run For Home" are not here. This disc is a good introduction to the group, however, and an easy way for the neophyte to see if Lindisfarne is really for them.
