Solta-Se O Beijo showcases a live performance by Portuguese folk-pop group Ala Dos Namorados. If not for the between-song applause, you wouldn't even guess that this was a live recording. The sound quality is excellent, sounding better than most big-budget studio albums. It helps, of course, that the group's music is largely acoustic and sparse. For the most part, the music consists of percussion, acoustic guitar, piano, and vocals, with the occasional horn showing up on songs like "Há Dias Em Que Mais Vale."
