Sirviéndose de su violín cual arco de cazadora, en Artemis Lindsey Stirling combina su propuesta de música clásica de crossover con un concepto realmente imaginativo. Cual versión cyberpunk de la banda de sonido de El señor de los anillos, Artemis narra una historia épica y dramática en la que coexisten y se enfrentan misticismo ancestral y futuro distópico, luz y oscuridad, pasado y presente. Sterling acierta además en reducir el número de invitados (aunque son notables las contribuciones de Elle King y Amy Lee) y de digresiones folk o electro, confeccionando un álbum evocativo y poderosamente cinematográfico, sin duda el ejemplo más acabado de su tan particular e híbrido estilo.
