With A Bigger Bang, los Rolling por fin ofrecen un álbum sólido, atractivo y cohesionado donde todos están en excelente forma. Keith Richards está suelto y ágil, Charlie Watts se muestra riguroso y controlado, Ronnie Wood impone una guitarra slide emocionante y grasienta y Mick Jagger lo pasa de maravilla contando chistes verdes, acosando a los nuevos conservadores y sonando mucho más comprometido con los Rolling de lo que ha estado en años. Lo mejor de todo es que se trata de un disco donde la banda reconoce su edad y ello no supone ningún problema en absoluto: no niegan la evidencia ni tratan de actuar como una banda más joven, sencillamente han aceptado lo que saben hacer mejor y lo hacen, sin ningún aspaviento.
