Yotam Silberstein

Born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1982. Yotam Silberstein is an acclaimed jazz guitarist now living in New York. Recognized as a child prodigy when he was young, he performed with many of Israel’s top musicians. In 2003, he released The Arrival, his debut album with his trio, undertook a tour of Europe, and performed at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy. He received a scholarship to the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music and relocated to New York. He became a sought-after figure on the New York jazz scene and worked with artists such as Christian McBride, Aaron Goldberg, Gregory Hutchinson, Eric Harland, and many others. Discovered by saxophonist James Moody, he served as a sideman for artists like the Dizzy Gillespie All Stars, Roy Hargrove, Paquito D’Rivera, and Ivan Lins. Yotam Silberstein released the album Next Page in 2009, followed by Resonance (2010), and Brasil (2011). Yotam Silberstein earned critical acclaim for his work on the Kennedy Center’s 2011 production of Ella!, which also featured Al Jarreau, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Janis Siegel. He released the albums The Village (2016) and Future Memories (2019).
