6-Pack is a suitable name for this 2020 EP, particularly if it's seen like a sampler of styles that are specialties of Florida Georgia Line. Sure, there's a drinking song here -- the boozy opener "Beer:30" -- but there are also sentimental ballads ("U.S. Stronger), rousing celebrations of their hometown ("I Love My Country"), pop tunes with a modern R&B foundation ("Ain't Worried Bout It"), then two adult contemporary crossovers that find FGL synthesizing all these sensibilities into chill grooves ("Countryside" and "Second Guessing," which made its debut on NBC's reality show Songland). There's enough variety to keep 6-Pack moving along at a rapid clip while Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard's casual charm unites the EP, keeping things easygoing without ever quite seeming lazy.
