His second album, Rokstarr, and the chart-topping singles "Break Your Heart," "Dynamite," and "Higher" won Taio Cruz gold and platinum awards for his mixture of house beats, dancefloor anthems, and R&B songs. Two years later, his third album, TY.O, takes some cues from David Guetta (whose previously released track "Nothing But the Beat" with Cruz and Ludacris is featured on some editions here) and puts a stronger emphasis on the house element, with first single "Hangover" (which entered the German singles charts at number three and reached the top spot in Austria and Switzerland) providing a good impression of the other album tracks.
