New York salsa queen India has ventured into a variety of musical styles over the years, but salsa siren is her true identity, a fact borne out by the volume of the GREATEST SALSA EVER series dedicated to her. Over the course of two discs and 20 songs, this compilation shows off India's sensual-but-powerful voice as it glides over a host of infectious syncopations. From a romantic duet with Marc Anthony on “Vivir Lo Nuestro” to the propulsive, no-nonsense attack of “Ese Hombre,” these tracks deliver a resonant portrait of this contemporary salsa sensation.
