The last release from his own Deluxe label, the 2009 mixtape Der Letzte Tanz ("The Last Dance") feels as if German MC Samy Deluxe is saying goodbye to the end of a hip-hop era. Mixed by DJ Mixwell, the mixtape delivers more of the personal rhymes that have helped the rapper draw comparisons to artists like Jay-Z, and serves as a fine farewell to the label.
