Taking a break from the McClymonts, the trio made up of her and her two sisters Samantha and Mollie, Brooke McClymont offers a romantic interlude with her man, Adam Eckersley. Without a doubt, Adam and Brooke fit perfectly into the groove of this tradition, juggling with all the conventional ingredients, from complicity to doubts, by way of double-dealing and telling tales. While it might not be the album of the century, the two Australians manage all the same to string together some hard-working country melodies with enough of a touch of rock to be taken seriously, and some southern rock with enough soul to be credible.
