Quattro anni separano questo album dal suo predecessore The Wall che pose i Pink Floyd all'apice del loro successo. Un Final Cut ben intitolato che sarà l'ultimo disco con Roger Waters, solitario autore di questo concept-album che esegue in quasi totalità — e l'unico in cui il tastierista Richard Wright non compare. Come una prima opera da solista? Non c'è dubbio ...
