The Black Eyed Peas fanno una musica pop/crossover efficace, ma con tutti i limiti della forma – testi insipidi, oratoria impacciata, capacità vocali levigate dall'Auto-Tune e una scrittura di canzoni che costantemente tende a (e raggiunge) il denominatore comune più basso. Guidati dalla produzione di will.i.am, che è sempre la migliore cosa dell'album, The Black Eyed Peas si allontanano ulteriormente dall'hip-hop per avvicinarsi al tipo di dance-pop piattamente ispirativo che è diventato maturo per le opportunità di pubblicità e marketing. The E.N.D.
