Uno straordinario concept album che e’ entrato di diritto nella storia della musica, “The Dark Side Of The Moon” esce nel marzo 1973 ed e’ l’ottavo album della band inglese Pink Floyd. Registrato nei famosissimi studi londinesi di Abbey Road dal noto musicista e produttore Alan Parsons, che ha ricevuto anche un Grammy Award , e’ uno degli album piu’ venduti della storia rimanendo per ben 741 settimane nella classifica Billboard americana. Esplora temi profondi come il passare del tempo, l’avidita’ e la malattia mentale, quest’ultimo collegato alla recente uscita dal gruppo di uno dei suoi membri fondatori, Syd Barrett. Tra i suoi pezzi piu’ noti sicuramente “Money”, “Us and them”, “Time”. Storica cover disegnata dal recentemente scomparso Storm Thogerson.
