Mysterious French duo Her released their first EP this week, entitled Tape # 1. All very sober. Only a few months after releasing the track Quite Like on Soundcloud and blew the barometer of likes on blogs and on YouTube with her sultry video, it was finally time to hear a little more. This mixtape is, let's be clear, a small concentration of the terribly sensual - an indie fusion of soul and pop that we have had the pleasure of listening to tirelessly. Six tracks, like chapters in a modern fairy tale. Evidence of especially Anglo-Saxon influences, and paying tribute to all forms of femininity. Elegant.
