Following his platinum-selling debut album Lonely Are the Brave in 2012, Maverick Sabre returns with sophomore effort Innerstanding. During the three-year gap, the English-born, Irish-bred soul singer traveled the globe and collaborated with artists such as Joey Bada$$ in New York and Idris Elba in South Africa, in the process discovering himself as an individual and a musician. This journey of self-discovery formed the album title and consequent themes. The track list contains the lead single "Come Fly Away" and the Joey Bada$$ collaboration "We Don't Wanna Be."
