Circles è il testamento musicale di Mac Miller, astro nascente del rap statunitense scomparso, a soli ventisei anni, per overdose accidentale. I dodici pezzi del disco -- quattordici nella versione deluxe -- non chiudono il cerchio, ma svelano tutto il travaglio emotivo di un artista chiaramente alle prese con i propri mali interiori. Pensato come seguito del fortunato Swimming del 2018, l’album esce a gennaio 2020 grazie all’intervento del produttore Jon Brion, che termina l’opera mantenendo fede alle volontà del suo autore. Primo singolo estratto è il brano “Good News”corredato da videoclip diretto dalla coppia Anthony Gaddis & Eric Tilford.
