Sabrina Claudio's debut full-length contains both the hit singles "Unravel Me" and "Belong to You," which brought her to the attention of R&B enthusiasts all over the globe. In addition, the album's closer is a remix of the latter by 6LACK, but the real treasure lies in its other nine tracks. Her breathy, sensual alto is surrounded by classy, sophisticated arrangements that glide between jazzy R&B, late pillow ballads, bossa, and sweet soul, with nods toward Maxwell, and early D'Angelo. Her self-penned lyrics and deliberate, cooing but controlled vocal style weave a balance of romantic optimism, experiential longing, and the tension created by real world choices. She takes them all in with openness and expresses them with smooth elegance.
