Moby has lived 100 lives. From hardcore punk to symphonic music, passing through techno, house and rock, the fifty-year-old jack-of-all-trades has always had 360 vision. With Reprise, he takes a look over his shoulder and revisits his past work with the help of some big names such as Gregory Porter, Jim James from My Morning Jacket, Mark Lanegan, Víkingur Ólafsson, and above all the Budapest Art Orchestra.

Better still, this Moby on strings is a Deutsche Grammophon stamped production. The prestigious classical label with its famous yellow sticker is not for everyone, but for Moby it was an irresistible opportunity.

In a Zoom interview, Moby talks about the inception of this unique project, his relationship with classical music, and his time spent with his hero, David Bowie.
