Zade

Performing under his first name only, Zade Dirani is a Jordanian pianist and composer trained in the National Music Conservatory in his homeland before attending the Berklee College of Music in the U.S. He then embarked on a series of house concerts across America, which helped make his name, and when Sawa released his debut album, Zade, in 2003, it reached the Top Ten of the Billboard new age chart. The follow-up, Roads to You (May 4, 2004) was an eclectic effort featuring the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, as well as musicians from around the world; it was another Top Ten new age hit. Zade then traveled to Beirut to record his third album, Beautiful World, released on Red Feather on May 23, 2006. The live album One Night in Jordan (subtitled "A Concert for Peace"), performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded June 19, 2008 in Amman, Jordan, was released by ZD Records on October 6, 2009, accompanied by a home video. In June 2010, he embarked on a U.S. tour.
