Kaydy Cain

A laid-back Spanish rapper and singer, Kaydy Cain initially emerged in the 2010s as a member of the trap group PXXR GVNG. Hailing from Madrid, Cain appeared on the group's breakthrough debut, 2015's Los Pobres, before launching his solo career. Influenced by the swaggering Atlanta hip-hop style of rappers like Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame, as well as salsa artists like Héctor Lavoe, Cain has built a strong following with his dynamic mix of hip-hop, reggaeton, bachata, and other styles. Born Dani Gómez in Madrid, Cain flirted with gang life in his teens before discovering music. In 2013, he co-founded PXXR GVNG (pronounced Poor Gang) along with friends and fellow rappers Yung Beef, Khaled, and Steve Lean. Together they released a popular full-length album in 2015 that drew global attention and found them performing at events in the United States. From there, Cain embarked on his own, holding down a strong social media presence and releasing a handful of his own popular mixtapes. In 2018 he delivered his official full-length debut, Calle Amore, which featured the single "Si Mi Meten Preso."
