Classical crossover pianist, composer, and producer Chloe Flower was born Chloe Won on August 6, 1985, in Los Angeles, California. She studied piano at the Manhattan School of Music before continuing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. Discovered by hit making artist and producer Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, she was signed to Sodapop, a sub-label of Def Jam Records. Chloe Flower then went on to open for Italian opera trio Il Vivo during their 2011 North American tour. She then appeared on rapper Nas’ album Life is Good (2012), Celine Dion’s Loved Me Back to Life (2013), and Timbaland’s Opera Noir (2013). Chloe Flower continued to work on several other projects including writing scores for the 2014 short film I Choose and the 2015 documentary A Ballerina’s Tale. In 2015, she also provided music for a Nike and Kevin Hart ad campaign, performed live with comedian Mike Epps for a Netflix special and played to a sold-out audience when she made her Walt Disney Hall debut. Chloe Flower began to co-produce tracks by other artists include 2Chainz, Swae Lee, Questlove, Johnny Mathis, and others. A decade after she was discovered, Chloe Flower released her self-titled debut album, which debuted on the Billboard Classical Albums chart at number 4. In 2022, she composed the theme and commercial intros and outros for the 80th Golden Globe Awards broadcast. Her second album was the holiday themed Chloe Hearts Christmas, which was released in November 2023.
