Kweku Collins

Stylistically left-of-center rapper, songwriter, and producer Kweku Collins was the subject of major press attention before he graduated high school in his native Evanston, Illinois. In 2015, he signed to Closed Sessions, an independent label based in nearby Chicago, and opted to concentrate on music rather than accept an invitation to enroll at Columbia College. His discography steadily expanded throughout the next few years, with numerous singles and titles such as Say It Here, While It's Safe (2015), Nat Love (2016), and Grey (2017) all contributing to the increase in his fan base. Collins has also appeared on tracks by the likes of frequent collaborators and in-house Closed Sessions producers OddCouple and Boathouse, as well as RITUAL and Layna, among others.
