Tony Romanello

Oklahoma-native Tony Romanello has been playing guitar since age six and playing in bands since his early teens. While in college, Romanello formed Murmur, an indie rock outfit that received endearing nods among the local scene. After disbanding Murmur in 1999, Romanello pieced together material for his debut solo album and signed to Engine Records. Already being compared to other singer/songwriters such as Jeff Buckley, Jeremy Enigk, and Brian Wilson, The Mumble Odd was released in spring 2000. Counting Stars came along three years later, marking his second album of airy, infectious pop music.
