K.will

Kim Hyung-soo aka K-pop star K.Will (born on December 30, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea) is known for his contributions to the Korean soundtrack canon as well as his work as an actor and singer. Previously nicknamed the "male Mariah Carey," the celebrated artist kickstarted his singing career as a vocal coach in the early '00s and began uploading videos to YouTube where he was able to showcase his impressive vocal range à la Mariah. K.Will, who takes his stage name from the English word 'will' and the K from his surname, made his debut as a solo singer in 2006 for the OST of A Love to Kill with the song “Dream,” before releasing his debut solo album Left Heart in 2007 on the label JYP Entertainment. The album, full of smooth and tender ballads, spawned a popular title track and K.Will followed it with the single "Love 119," a collaboration with South Korean rapper MC Mong. While still continuing to work as a voice coach, in 2009 K.Will took his first steps as an actor, appearing on the web series Soul Special, while that same year he dropped his second album, Missing You. Having made transatlantic waves at a concert in 2010 and completing a successful tour in Japan, he dropped The Third Album Part 1 in 2012 and Part 2: Love Blossom the following year. Another two-part LP arrived in 2017 and 2018, respectively, titled The 4th Album. In 2021, K.Will contributed to the OST for Back in Time (The Moon During the Day) and treated his fans to the laidback urban pop shuffle of "Em Đến Như Cơn Gió."
