Young Drummer Boy

Young Drummer Boy's perspective is from the streets of Pomona, California. The rapper and producer, alternately known as simply Drummer Boy, has been active since the late 2000s with material that draws from the past -- including vintage G-funk -- as much as it relates to the present. Among his mixtape releases are Reverse Psychology, Barjud Ave., High Forever, and Str8 Out tha 9, the last three of which were issued during 2017 alone. As a collaborator, he has been featured on tracks by Holladay, Mike Theory, and GT Garza, as well as on a number of cuts by close associate Lil King G.
