Yll limani

Yll Limani (Albanian: [yɫ liˈmani]; born 24 September 1994 in Pristina, Kosovo) is a Kosovo-Albanian singer and songwriter who first came to light in 2011 after appearing on the first season of The Voice of Albania and further sowed the seeds of national celebrity with an appearance on the 9th edition of the Albanian music contest Top Fest the following year. It took three years for an official single to emerge, but 2015's "Single" featuring Kosovo-Albanian rapper Gent Fatali helped get his career on track and he cracked the Albanian chart in July 2016 with "Pritëm se po vi", which reached the top three. He took his track "Shiu" to the 55th edition of Albania's Festivali i Këngës in December that year and after finishing third, scored a number 34 single in Albania; his second record to chart on home soil. Two years later he bagged his second Albanian chart-topper with single "Nuk po kalojka", a collaboration with Albanian composers Aida Baraku and Armend Rexhepagiqi along with Macedonian producer Darko Dimitrov. In 2021 he stepped out with his debut EP, Lshoja zanin, which soared to number one on the Albanian Top 100, and the following year he expanded his repertoire to contribute songwriting to the Cypriot entry, "Ela", for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 by Greek singer Andromache.
