In 1994, the piano player, composer, and arranger was nominated by the Argentinean Konex foundation as one of the most talented local artists. 1997's Taddei-Maslíah was followed by Maslíah Existe and 2000's Eslabones, released by New York-based Big World Music. That same year, Leo Maslíah performed a main role in the movie Que Absurdo Es Haber Crecido, also composing its soundtrack.
