Einav Yarden

Israeli pianist Einav Yarden studied piano with Hadassa Gonen at the Israel Conservatory of Music, and continued her studies with Emanuel Krasovsky at the Rubin Music Academy in Tel Aviv, graduating with highest honors. She also studied with Leon Fleisher at the Peabody Conservatory, where she earned her masters of music and graduate performance diploma. She received a major scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. Yarden took first prize at the 2001 Aviv Competitions in Israel, winning the Guralnik Piano Prize and the Zilbermann Prize. She was a finalist at the 2003 Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary, and she won third prize at the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn in 2009. She won the first prize at the Katz Piano Competition, and she received the Buchman-Heyman Prize for Excellence and Achievement. As a soloist, Yarden has performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, and the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, among many others. In addition to her busy performance schedule in Israel, Yarden has given concerts in the United States, Canada, and Europe. She has recorded for Challenge Classics.
