Aine Minogue

A talented Irish vocalist, harpist, and producer who weaves elements of Celtic, world, folk, spiritual, and new age music into a colorful sonic tapestry, Áine Minogue began performing at the age of 14 as a member of the Galway Mercy Convent's renowned 114-piece orchestra. After a tenure with the Bunratty Castle Singers, Minogue relocated to the U.S., settling in Boston and teaming with the Irish tenor Seán Ó'Sé in the duo Legacy. While simultaneously teaching at Boston College's Irish Studies Program, she also began performing extensively in the company of artists including Johnny Cunningham, Séamus Connolly, and Séamus Egan, all of whom joined her on her debut release, 1994's Were You at the Rock. In 1996, Minogue returned with a pair of LPs, Mysts of Time and To Warm Winter's Night, followed in 1997 by Between Worlds. Circle of the Sun appeared in 1998, followed a year later by Celtic Spirit. Subsequent outings include The Twilight Realm, Celtic Meditation Music, Celtic Pilgrimage, Celtic Lamentations, Close Your Eyes, Love, and In the Name of Stillness, many of which have topped Billboard's world, new age, and classical charts.
