Erased Tapes, un label pas si classique

Dès sa création en 2007, Erased Tapes s’est imposé comme un des labels les plus innovants des quinze dernières années, tout en rencontrant le succès auprès du public. Strauss & Kempe : des affinités électives

Le nom du chef Rudolf Kempe (1910-1976) est indissociable de ceux du compositeur Richard Strauss et de l’orchestre de la Staatskapelle de Dresde. À l’occasion de la réédition par Warner des enregistrements réalisés entre 1970 et 1975, Qobuz met en lumière, entre autres, le legs straussien d’un chef à la direction précise, souvent incisive, toujours soucieuse du texte et sensible à ses voluptés.

Le violon en 10 interprètes, épisode 1

Si le timbre et l’ambitus du violoncelle le rapprochent de la voix humaine, les aigus stratosphériques du violon flirtent avec les dieux. L’instrument a inspiré des œuvres nombreuses à la discographie pléthorique : des trésors qui sont autant de versions de référence. Cette sélection subjective de 10 violonistes choisit de mettre en lumière deux générations éloignées : la première est née pendant le premier tiers du XXe siècle ; la seconde pendant le dernier tiers, à retrouver jeudi.
