Un des très grands enregistrements de l'histoire du disque (datant de 1966 et réédité en 2002) grâce à la direction à la fois inspirée, généreuse et théâtrale de Sir John Barbirolli qui fait éclater ici ses origines italiennes. Côté chant, c'est le rêve avec une Renata Scotto au sommet de sa forme vocale dans un rôle qui fut un de ses préférés. Carlo Bergonzi est un styliste de grande classe et d'un souffle puissant. Le reste est à l'avenant et le tout procure un plaisir infini. FH

Un des très grands enregistrements de l'histoire du disque (datant de 1966 et réédité en 2002) grâce à la direction à la fois inspirée, généreuse et théâtrale de Sir John Barbirolli qui fait éclater ici ses origines italiennes. Côté chant, c'est le rêve avec une Renata Scotto au sommet de sa forme vocale dans un rôle qui fut un de ses préférés. Carlo Bergonzi est un styliste de grande classe et d'un souffle puissant. Le reste est à l'avenant et le tout procure un plaisir infini. FH
