A la tête de l’ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, qu’il a fondé avec Luca Pianca en 1985, Giovanni Antonini a commencé l’enregistrement des 107 symphonies de Joseph Haydn. Cette monumentale entreprise en est actuellement à son 8e volume et s’achèvera en 2032, à l’occasion des 300 ans de la naissance du Père de la symphonie. Retour sur le parcours de l’audacieux chef milanais.

Clara Schumann, entre artiste et épouse

Pianiste la plus renommée de son siècle, enfant prodige, compositrice, pédagogue… Elle reste surtout connue comme « la femme de Robert Schumann ». Avec sa musicalité et sa virtuosité sans précédents, Clara Schumann a ouvert une nouvelle ère et compte aujourd’hui parmi les plus grandes représentantes du romantisme. Et pourtant, ses œuvres sont toujours nettement moins mises en lumière que celles de ses contemporains, et en particulier de son époux. Jetons un œil sur la vie et l’œuvre de Clara Wieck/Schumann, artiste et compositrice qui était aussi une femme en avance sur son temps.

L’Oratorio de Noël de Bach
