Issu d'un récital entièrement improvisé dans une petite église du Cantal, cet album est avant toute chose le fruit d'une rencontre entre deux musiciens épris de liberté. Joué dans le monde entier, Karol Beffa est un compositeur contemporain à part. Électron libre des musiques actuelles, Raphaël Imbert est pour sa part célébré au-delà de la sphère jazz. Les deux virtuoses atypiques étaient comme fait pour croiser le fer. Ils ont spontanément conçu ce duo au sein duquel l'improvisation devient une impérieuse nécessité. © CM/Qobuz

Issu d'un récital entièrement improvisé dans une petite église du Cantal, cet album est avant toute chose le fruit d'une rencontre entre deux musiciens épris de liberté. Joué dans le monde entier, Karol Beffa est un compositeur contemporain à part. Électron libre des musiques actuelles, Raphaël Imbert est pour sa part célébré au-delà de la sphère jazz.
