Ceremonials est le deuxième album très attendu de Florence + the Machine. Forte du chaleureux accueil que la critique a réservé à son premier album Lungs (qui a remporté de nombreux prix dont un Brit Award), la chanteuse Florence Welch fait preuve d’une belle assurance à travers des chansons pleines d’émotion et des tendances excentriques. Le producteur Paul Epworth (Adele, Friendly Fires) y introduit des harpes et autres instrumentations qui vont et viennent tout au long des morceaux et culminent dans les percussions aptes à déchaîner les foules de "Never Let Me Go".
