Edité à l’occasion du quarantième anniversaire de son concert historique à l’Olympia qui le popularisa auprès du grand public français, Arp Pep Gwellan : Le Best Of est une rétrospective en 2 CD de la carrière de l’influent virtuose de la harpe celtique Alan Stivell. Le premier disque est composé de 16 de ses plus grands classiques, depuis Renaissance de la harpe celtique en 1971 (« Ys ») jusqu’au Beyond Words de 2002 (« La Celtie et l’infini »), parmi lesquels « Tri martolod », « Suite sudarmoricaine » et « Mna na heireann », tandis que le second disque se compose de 12 titres remasterisés issus de son légendaire album live vendu à plus d’un million d’exemplaires, A l’Olympia.
