La pochette de And The résume à elle seule le contenu de l’album : Pierrick Pédron et son saxophone nous transporte dans l’infini de l’espace. Son jazz électrifié est expérimental et oscille entre funk et psyché. Avec groove frôlant l’arrogance, le groupe vient surfer sur les vagues de l’afro beat. C’est bien Vincent Artaud qui a eu carte blanche pour gérer la direction artistique du LP alors que le magicien du studio Manu Gallet a été responsable du mixage. D’ailleurs, And the a nécessité seulement 5 jours d’enregistrement. Avec un son digne d’une BO de science-fiction, cet opus est cosmique. © AR/Qobuz
