Berlin Classics is a label of countless treasures, whose story draws on the sources of phonographic production in East Germany and has continued since the fall of the Berlin Wall with new productions of the highest level.The label epitomises the exceptional quality of traditional music hubs in the cities of Leipzig, Dresden or Berlin. Among these are the famous recordings of Kurt Masur, Herbert Blomstedt, Kurt Sanderling, Franz Konwitschny, Hermann Abendroth, Günther Ramin, Peter Schreier, Ludwig Guettler, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau; those of the Staatskapelle Dresden and Berlin, the records of the Choir of Leipzig ... This heritage has been fully remastered.
