Scarlet Rebels

Welsh band Scarlet Rebels blend melodic riffs with hard rock sensibilities. Hailing from Llanelli, South Wales, the band formed in 2018, comprised of Wayne Doyle (vocals/guitar), Gary Doyle (drums), Chris Jones (lead guitar), Wayne Esmonde (bass), and Josh Townshend (guitar), the latter of whom is the son of the Who's Simon Townshend and the nephew of Pete Townshend. Their debut album, Show Your Colours, surfaced a year after forming, seeing release through Rock Angel Records. The second album was in the final stages in 2020, but the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic caused them to delay its release, instead opting to share a live EP. See Through Blue emerged in 2022 via Earache Records.
