Aste

Jani Sutelainen (June 24, 1985), professionally known as Aste, is a rapper from Finland. Raised in the city of Kouvola, he began writing his own rhymes during his adolescence in the early aughts. AD / HD, his studio debut, came out in 2008 via the Helsinki-based label Löyly-Viihde. Despite not having entered any charts, the album helped Aste land a recording contract with Warner Music in 2009. That same year, he released his sophomore effort Surullisiilauluja, which reached Number 16 on the Official Finnish Charts. "Poikkeus sääntöön," the lead single from the album, was voted as Finland's Song of the Summer by The Voice radio station. Preceded by the hit single "Normipäivä," his third full-length Nuorallatanssija arrived in 2010 and was followed by the albums Sirkus palaa (2012), 2.0 (2015), and Grand Prix (2018). After a few years absent from the spotlight, Aste returned in 2022 with the single "Mikä-Mikä-Maa" featuring singer Eme, which went to Number 19 on the Finnish Singles Chart
