Flipp Dinero

With a versatile approach focusing on fluid freestyles as well as melodic hooks, raspy-voiced rapper Flipp Dinero caught the attention of the industry early in his career, backed by Joey Bada$$ and DJ Khaled. His debut EP, The Guala Way, arrived in 2017, and by the time he released his first official full-length, Love for Guala, he had broken onto the Billboard 200. Bred in Brooklyn, the artist born Christopher St. Victor spent his early years skateboarding and singing in a local choir. He started rapping at age 15 and by his early twenties was contributing features on other artists' tracks. He attracted the attention of fellow Brooklyn emcee Joey Bada$$, who helped Dinero land a deal with his label Cinematic Music Group. In 2017, Dinero released the singles "I Do" and "Running Up Bands," highlighting his unique delivery and gift for melodies. He followed in June of the same year with his first mixtape, The Guala Way. The 2018 singles "Leave Me Alone," "You Know It," and "Feelin Like" continued this hot streak, with more listeners and fans tuning in with every new release. The popping "Leave Me Alone" was eventually certified platinum and became a Top 20 hit, boosting the support for his 2019 debut full-length, Love for Guala. Issued via DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group, Cinematic, and Epic Records, the set landed on the Billboard 200 and featured guests Jay Critch, Kodak Black, Rich the Kid, and Lil Baby. 2020 saw Flipp delivering the singles "Jump Off" and "Rich Today," as well as collaborating with A Boogie wit da Hoodie on the track "No No No" and Jadakiss and Smoke DZA on "Hibachi." In 2021, Dinero released the EP Table for One in addition to his regularly arriving singles like "Playing My Part" and "The Get Back."
